What Makes It Great

The MY100 is the flagship distance at the Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB, a 97.7 km loop through the pristine tropical rainforests and Virgin Jungle Reserves surrounding Taiping, Perak. Starting before dawn at Esplanade Taiping, runners climb to Maxwell Hill via ancient jungle trails, navigating steep staircases, ladders, and a 7 km / 1200 m ascent to the TM Tower summit before winding back down to finish near the historic Taiping Lake Gardens. Along the way, runners pass through pre-war railway tunnels, durian plantations, and riverside villages, with sweeping views of Taiping town and the Strait of Malacca from the ridge. A UTMB World Series 100K event, finishers earn 3 Running Stones.
