A double-peak mountain loop at the edge of the Canadian Rockies
A double-alpine loop that takes in both Swift Mountain and Mount McKirdy in a single day. Starting at dawn from Whiskey Fill Farm, the course climbs Swift Mountain first for morning views, then traverses McKirdy's ridgeline in the afternoon. Both peaks summit above 2,300m, delivering panoramic sightlines over Mount Robson, the Premier's Range, and Kinbasket Lake. With 3,300m of gain and a 15-hour cutoff, it's the mid-distance centrepiece of the Alpenglow weekend.
