Land's End to Perranporth: 82.7 km of winter coast path
The Arc 100K is a point-to-point race on the South West Coast Path from Land's End to the finish at Perranporth Airfield. From Cornwall's westernmost point the route follows rugged cliffs and headlands past Cape Cornwall, Botallack and Zennor Head, crosses Hayle and the Dunes of Doom, and rounds Godrevy Head on its way north along the Atlantic coast. The 82.7 km course climbs 2,708 metres with a 16-hour time limit. Larger aid stations are about 20 miles apart, a drop bag is carried to Lelant, no support crew is allowed and mandatory kit is required. Depending on pace, the later part of the race is run at night.
