A new 50 km point-to-point along Cornwall's Atlantic coast
The Arc 50K is a point-to-point trail race on the South West Coast Path from Harlyn Bay, round the Trevose headland and south along Cornwall's Atlantic coast to the finish at Perranporth Airfield. The new 49.4 km course passes Porthcothan Bay, Mawgan Porth, Newquay, Polly Joke and Holywell Bay, with 1,458 metres of climbing and a 9-hour time limit. There are three aid stations, no support crew is allowed and mandatory kit is required. Depending on pace, the later part of the race is run in the dark, making it a stepping stone into ultra-distance trail running.
