A punchy sampler of Bandera's infamous Hill Country rocks and climbs
A modified partial loop through Hill Country State Natural Area, the Bandera 25k follows the main course from the start through the early rocky climbs and past Equestrian Aid Station before cutting across to rejoin the course near YaYa Aid Station and heading to the finish. Runners get a significant taste of the Hill Country's signature technical terrain — rocks, sotol, steep ascents — with a shorter overall commitment and a Sunday finish-line atmosphere shared with the 50k.

Primitive camping available at the race venue (Hill Country State Natural Area), first-come first-served, no reservations needed Thu–Mon. $25/person covers all nights (tent, car, or RV without hookup).
