A scenic 21km introduction to Sunshine Coast hinterland rainforest trails.
The Blackall21 offers an accessible entry into the Sunshine Coast Hinterland trail scene, covering 21 kilometres with 580 metres of elevation gain through subtropical rainforest and along the Blackall Range ridgeline. Starting and finishing at QCCC Mapleton, the course follows sections of the Great Walk and delivers genuine hinterland scenery without the extended time commitment of the longer distances. Mandatory gear including a 1-litre water capacity and compression bandage is required for all participants. Note that crew and spectators have no access to any part of the 21km course — supporters can only meet runners at the finish line.
