Three chances to race Dinosaur Valley—including a Saturday night run under the stars
The 5-mile race traverses a scenic reduced portion of the main Dinosaur Valley loop, sampling the park's rocky singletrack at a friendly distance. Three race starts spread across the weekend—Saturday morning (Triassic), Saturday night (Jurassic), and Sunday morning (Cretaceous)—each stand as separate races with their own awards. The Saturday night Jurassic edition offers a fun introduction to headlamp running on one of the more accessible sections of the course, and is popular with crew members of the longer distances. Those who complete all three 5-mile races earn a special 'Mesozoic Maniac' award.
