Three loops through North Texas Hill Country—a welcoming first or fiftieth ultra
Three loops of the 10.5-mile main course make up the 50K, accumulating nearly 2,900 feet of gain over rocky, varied terrain. The course transitions between open double-track fields and wooded singletrack, with enough technical rocky sections to make it a real trail ultra. Saturday's generous schedule means no formal time pressure—an ideal setup for first-time ultrarunners or those looking to enjoy the Dinosaur Valley State Park experience at their own pace.
