One of Australia's hardest 50Ks — waterfalls, sandstone slabs, and 2000m of climbing
The GPT50K covers the spectacular northern section of the Grampians Peaks Trail from Mt Zero to Halls Gap. Despite the relatively modest distance, it is one of Australia's most challenging 50K courses — featuring the iconic Taipan Wall climb, cascading waterfalls, long exposed ridgeline ascents through Mt Difficult, and technical rocky descents. It starts at the same time and shares the course with Stage 1 of the GPT100 Stage Race. A UTMB World Series qualifier.
