The Trail Peñalara 60K is a demanding 61km point-to-point from Miraflores de la Sierra to Navacerrada, traversing the most technical and scenically dramatic terrain in the Sierra de Guadarrama. Runners climb La Morcuera, descend into the Lozoya valley, scale to the 2,428m summit of Peñalara, and finish via the Guarramillas ridge — accumulating 2,700m of vertical gain over a challenging mix of mountain singletrack and forest roads.
