The 70km course explores a rich tapestry of natural and cultural attractions around Zhangjiakou, including the Anjiagou Ecological Tourism Zone, the Northeast Tiger Breeding Base, Tanyi Xigu Cultural Park, Qinghe Film and Television City, the Goddess of Water Palace Scenic Area, and West Taiping Mountain Park. Starting at 21:00, runners navigate the majority of this course in darkness before reaching the finish.
