What Makes It Great

Kullamannen Ultra 100 Miles is a brutal yet beautiful point-to-point journey through the wild coast of southern Sweden, starting at dusk at Höganäs Church and finishing in Båstad after up to 32 hours of racing. The course traverses two iconic peninsulas — Kullaberg and Bjäre — threading through 15 nature reserves, past fishing villages, across rocky mountains, and along some of the most exposed coastal terrain in Scandinavia. Technical singletracks on Kullaberg's mountain provide the early test, while the long coastal stretches north of Mölle demand relentless pacing through the night. With a 56% historical DNF rate and November weather bringing gales, near-freezing temperatures, and more darkness than light, this race tests runners on every level.
