Run the Western Ghats coffee estates under the stars — headlights required
Launched in 2025, the Malnad Ultra 50KM Night runs the identical course as the Day edition but departs at 4:30 PM, requiring runners to complete the latter half — and finish — in full darkness through remote coffee estates. It also serves as a companion event for 100KM participants seeking company on their second overnight loop, and headlights are mandatory.

Same criteria as 50KM Day. Meet one of: (1) previous Malnad Ultra finisher, any edition and distance; (2) Full Marathon under 5:30 at an officially timed event in 2026; (3) ITRA Performance Index > 275; (4) trail run of 30KM+ finished within cutoff in 2026; or (5) 50KM Stadium Run under 7 hours in 2026. Submit proof as an online link by November 7, 2026.
