A midnight ultra under Arctic skies through Lapland's finest national park
A 103 km point-to-point midnight ultra starting at Pallastunturi and finishing in Äkäslompolo. Runners depart at 11 PM on Friday and chase the dawn through the national park's most dramatic terrain, including the steep Taivaskero ascent, long forest stretches, and the demanding Ylläs crossing and Pirunkuru gorge near the finish. With 2,596 m of gain and a 25-hour cutoff, this race delivers a full Arctic night experience without the extreme distance of the 160 km.
