The ideal first ultra in the Patagonian Andes
Starting at dawn on Saturday, the 70k is described by the organizers as 'the ideal distance to enter the world of mountain ultramarathons.' The 71-kilometer course gains over 4,100 meters through Andean forests and ridgelines in Lanín National Park, with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. Experienced runners looking to push beyond the 42k distance will find this event the perfect challenge.
