A scenic point-to-point through Pirin's alpine meadows with 1,600m of descent to Bansko
The Pirin Trail 25K is the accessible entry point to the Pirin Ultra weekend, running point-to-point from Banderishka Polyana — reached by organized transport from Bansko — through alpine meadows and forest trails down to the finish in Bansko. The route covers 25 kilometers with 1,000 meters of ascent and 1,600 meters of descent past the Vihren Hut and through Demyanitsa valley, offering stunning views of the Pirin peaks without the extreme technical demands of the longer routes. Introduced in 2024 as a route for beginners and less experienced trail runners.
