The course traverses dense forest, exposed ridgelines, and local village paths, passing key summits including Mon Long and Doi Pui over a 30-hour cutoff. October is the tail end of Thailand's monsoon season. Expect temperatures of 25–30°C during the day at lower elevations, dropping to 15–18°C at higher altitudes overnight. Humidity remains high and rain showers are possible, particularly in the afternoon. Trail surfaces may be muddy and slippery from seasonal rainfall. Conditions on exposed ridgelines and summits can change quickly.
