Canada's most prestigious ultra — 134 km from Charlevoix to Mont-Sainte-Anne
The flagship event of the Québec Mega Trail festival, the QMT 135 is a demanding point-to-point journey of 134 km from the picturesque town of Baie-Saint-Paul through the rugged Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix to the slopes of Mont-Sainte-Anne. After skirting the St. Lawrence River, the route climbs into the Charlevoix highlands, traverses the wild cap-top terrain above the river, and eventually plunges into the notorious Mestachibo trail — one of the most technically challenging sections in Canadian trail running — before ascending Mont-Sainte-Anne almost twice in the final stretch. Starting at 8 PM, runners navigate most of the course in darkness through dense Quebec forest.
