Two summits, fjord views, and Jæder hamburgers at the finish
A 10 km loop from Alsvik Nature Center called Jæderrunden (The Jæder Round), climbing two mountains — Øykjafjell and Skrussfjell — with rewarding fjord views from each summit. The opening ascent from Alsvik is steep and relentless, followed by a technical and slippery descent from Øykjafjell. The finish features Jæder hamburgers grilled fresh at the line. An accessible entry point to the SUT race weekend, but genuinely challenging for its distance.
