28 summits, 8,000m of gain — a Hardrock qualifier in the Norwegian fjords
The SUT 100 Miles is a brutally technical loop through the mountains and fjord country around Sandnes. Starting and finishing at Alsvik Nature Center on the water, the course tackles 28 separate summits across 162 km of raw Norwegian terrain — rocky highland traverses, boggy plateaus, fjordside forest trails, and relentlessly technical climbs and descents. The route reaches its apex at Bynuten before the exposed scramble up Selvikstakken, a needle-shaped peak with 360-degree views over the surrounding fjords. The final half of the course is only partially marked, demanding solid navigation skills alongside raw endurance. This is a Hardrock 100 qualifying race.
