A high-altitude traverse of Teide's volcanic slopes above 2,100 metres
Begins in the historic village of Vilaflor de Chasna at 1,500m and climbs through Teide National Park along the Camino Real de Chasna — a 500-year-old royal footpath spanning the island north to south. The course remains above 2,100m throughout, skirting the southwest slopes of the Teide volcano and passing through the otherworldly 'Lunar Landscape,' where centuries of wind and water erosion have sculpted surreal spire formations. After descending from the volcanic plateau, runners pass through the lush forests of the Orotava Valley before finishing at Playa Martiánez in Puerto de la Cruz.
