Brisbane's 50km reservoir loop — singletrack, fire roads, and the Hell Hole descent
The Glass Half Full 50km covers the first two legs of the Guzzler's reservoir tour — Enoggera and Gold Creek — on a course of rolling singletrack and fire roads through Mt Coot-tha. Starting alongside the 100km runners at the main event precinct, the race packs 2,100m of elevation gain into 52km, including the notorious Hell Hole descent. It's a UTMB Index race and Six Foot Track Marathon qualifier that draws a huge field, starting and finishing the same day with a 12-hour window.
