What Makes It Great

The Guzzler Ultra 100km is Brisbane's signature trail ultra, looping out from Mt Coot-tha's forested slopes to visit three of the city's oldest reservoirs — Enoggera (1864), Gold Creek (1882), and Lake Manchester (1912) — before returning to the start. Running 99% on trail across singletrack and fire roads, the 105km course packs in over 4,600m of climbing and includes the notorious 'Hell Hole' descent. Runners have 28 hours to complete the course, with most experiencing at least one full night of running. A Western States 100 qualifier (sub-24hr finish required), UTMB Index race, and Six Foot Track Marathon qualifier.
