The Pineapple Ridge route — Kinabalu's western ridges in a classic half-loop
The TMBT 50km follows the same start as the 109km from Kg. Lingkubang, climbing through paddy fields, forest, and plantations before ascending the iconic Pineapple Ridge for sweeping views of Mount Kinabalu's southern face. The course then descends and follows the ridge to Kiau Bersatu before a steep double ascent via the infamous Bukit Dallas to finish at the Pekan Nabalu viewpoint overlooking Kinabalu. A UTMB 50km series qualifier and Asia Trail Master points race, capped at 500 runners.
