A wild linear trail through the Hautes-Gorges valley deep in Charlevoix wilderness
The UTHC 80 is a wild 78 km linear trail through the heart of Charlevoix's Hautes-Gorges region. Starting at the entrance to Parc des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie, the course begins with a 15 km loop through the valley, climbing along the Riverain Trail to the Érables Dam before joining the 65 km course midway through. Dense boreal forests, tranquil lakes, and technical terrain create an immersive wilderness experience, with chances to spot hawks, beavers, porcupines, and moose. Positioned as the ideal stepping stone toward eventually taking on the 125 km.
