Cerro Champaquí at night — 100km to Córdoba's highest peak and back
A demanding 100km night-start ultra that crosses the Sierras Grandes to the summit of Cerro Champaquí (2884m), the highest peak in Córdoba province. Starting at 10pm from Villa Yacanto, runners tackle 4180m of gain through remote wilderness, crossing the Comechingones in darkness before completing a punishing return leg. Semi-self-sufficiency required. A Western States 100 qualifier — finishers under 26 hours enter the WS lottery.
