What Makes It Great

The Vermont 100 Endurance Race 100 Kilometer covers approximately 62 miles through the same rolling Vermont countryside as its 100-mile sibling, with 9,000 feet of cumulative gain across dirt roads, horse trails, and farmland tracks. Starting mid-morning at 9am from Silver Hill Meadow, 100km runners share the final two-thirds of the course with 100-mile competitors who have been running since 4am. No qualifier is required — this event welcomes trail runners ready for their first serious ultra distance or those stepping up from the marathon. Like the 100-mile, all proceeds benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports and the race runs concurrently with a 100-mile horse endurance ride on the same course.

Great race, but if you're not from a humid climate, you need to be prepared for the humidity! Defend against chaffing!
