A lakeside sprint through alerce forest and volcanic ash on the shores of Lago Todos Los Santos
The Sprint 13K (real distance 13.5km) is an approachable introduction to Vulcano's volcanic trails. A flat opening across volcanic ash leads to the Cruce junction, then the course winds through native alerce forest on the rooty Sendero Alerce before finishing with 3km along the lake's edge back to Petrohué. Low complexity but the technical forest sections and volcanic underfoot make it a genuine trail running experience.
