With 3,981m of climbing and a 28-hour cutoff, the 7 Valleys Ultra is a serious backcountry challenge that demands self-navigation skills — the route is not waymarked. A drop bag is available once along the course. This event is an official Western States Endurance Run qualifier and earns 4 ITRA points for finishers.
