A 110km point-to-point from Waterhead (Ambleside) to Keswick that traverses seven of the Lake District's most spectacular valleys. With 3,981m of climbing and a 28-hour cutoff, the 7 Valleys Ultra is a serious backcountry challenge that demands self-navigation skills — the route is not waymarked. A drop bag is available once along the course. This event is an official Western States Endurance Run qualifier and earns 4 ITRA points for finishers.
