An overnight alpine odyssey over two BC mountain summits
A demanding overnight-start 100K that tackles two alpine mountains deep in the Canadian Rockies. Beginning at 8:30pm from Whiskey Fill Farm, runners ascend Mount McKirdy by headlamp before descending to the valley and climbing Swift Mountain for a sunrise ridge crossing, then return over McKirdy's lower ridge to the finish. The course summits above 2,300m on both peaks, with sweeping views of Mount Robson, the Monashees, the Cariboos, and Kinbasket Lake. All 100km runners share exactly 7h12m of darkness.
