Colorado's flattest 50K, built for fast times and lake views
Other trail races within 49 miles
The Barr Lake Trail Race 50K is one of Colorado's flattest ultramarathons, sending runners on three loops around Barr Lake's scenic shoreline dirt trail. With less than 500 feet of total elevation gain over 31.6 miles, this course is purpose-built for PRs — not sufferfests. Continuous views of the lake and the snow-capped Front Range keep the miles rolling by at Barr Lake State Park in Brighton.
