100 km through Lethbridge's coulee country — a rare Canadian Western States qualifier
Two complete laps of the 50.3 km Lost Soul Ultra course through the river valley coulees of Lethbridge, totalling 100.6 km. Runners start at 8:30 am Friday and have 21 hours to navigate 16 significant hills per lap across singletrack, shale paths, and gravel roads alongside the Oldman River. Lethbridge's exposed coulee terrain under full prairie sun makes pacing and heat management critical. A Western States qualifier for finishers under 21 hours — one of the few Canadian events to offer this distinction.
