A 60-kilometer semi-self-sufficient mountain race following the GR-33 pilgrimage route from sea-level Castelló de la Plana to the Sanctuary of Sant Joan de Penyagolosa at 1,280 meters. Runners pass through five historic municipalities—Borriol, Vilafamés, Les Useres, Xodos, and Vistabella—gaining 3,300 meters over varied terrain that transitions from coastal plains to rugged mountain singletracks. One of Spain's most beloved and historic point-to-point races, the Marató i Mitja (MiM) has been run since 1999 and draws a lottery field of 1,500 runners each April. Officially titled FUGA Penyagolosa Trails® MiM, the race earns 3 ITRA points and qualifies as a UTMB 50K race.
