100 miles along the Thames from London to the dreaming spires of Oxford
The Thames Path 100 is a 100-mile point-to-point trail race following the River Thames from Richmond in South West London to Oxford, organized by Centurion Running. The course traces the nationally-recognized Thames Path National Trail against the river's current, threading through riverside meadows, historic market towns, and quintessential English countryside. With only 1,900 feet of total elevation gain, the route is exceptionally flat for a 100-miler, making it one of the fastest such courses in the UK. Runners pass through Windsor, Henley-on-Thames, Reading, Wallingford, and a string of charming Oxfordshire villages before finishing in the grounds of Queen's College, Oxford University. The race starts at 9am on Saturday and most runners will experience a full English night on the trail before arriving in Oxford.
