37km through the Weißsee Glacier World to the Kapruner Törl and down to Kaprun
Other trail races within 200 miles
The Weißsee Glacier World Trail offers a 37-kilometer point-to-point route from Enzingerboden (1,483m) to Kaprun. Runners pass the Grünsee lake, climb to the Berghotel Rudolfshütte (2,315m), continue to the Tauernmoos reservoir, and ascend to the Kapruner Törl at 2,639m — the course high point. The descent follows the Mooserboden reservoir and Kaprun valley to the finish at Salzburger Platz. Three glaciers and alpine terrain up to 2,639m make this a genuine high-alpine experience suitable for runners with mountain experience, though the 1,500m of gain is the most accessible of the GGUT adult events.
