The full Giant's Cup Hiking Trail — a 5-day hike — in a single non-stop effort
The Giant's Cup Uncut (GCU) is a non-stop 62km ultra-distance run along the full length of the legendary Giant's Cup Hiking Trail through the southernmost reaches of the Drakensberg. Named for the distinctive cup-shaped basin between Hodgson's Peaks, the route crosses ancient pathways, cascading streams, and dramatic valleys carved into the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg. Starting at Silverstreams, runners experience the complete 5-day hiking trail compressed into a single effort — one of the purest ways to experience the Maloti-Drakensberg World Heritage Site.
