Shinetsu Five Mountains Trail 110km

The Shinetsu Five Mountains Trail 110km begins with an early morning start from Madarao Kogen and traces the same finish-line path as the 100-mile, traversing Mt. Kurohime (2,053m), the vast Sasagamine Plateau, the ancient cedar forests of Togakushi, and a final ridge to Iizuna Resort. The course covers roughly 112km of trail through the heart of the Shinetsu Highlands, passing hot spring villages and rice paddies alongside mountain trail systems that locals have used for centuries. Four designated assistant points allow crew support, and pacers may join from the Sasagamine aid station (60km) for the second half of the race.
