The first 100-miler on the Colorado calendar, the Great Divide Ultra 100 Mile sends runners through seven loops of Mueller State Park's rolling meadows and Pikes Peak granite scenery. The course is entirely above 9,100 feet on smooth singletrack and doubletrack, making it an accessible entry into 100-mile racing without the technical terrain of many Colorado ultras. The generous 36-hour cutoff and well-stocked aid stations every 4–6 miles make this a welcoming race for both first-time centurions and experienced runners chasing a strong time.

Entire course sits between 9,189 and 9,743 ft — plan for altitude adjustment, especially for runners coming from lower elevations.
Early June Colorado weather is unpredictable; rain and snow are possible. Temperatures range from mid-60s during the day to mid-40s at night.
