110km through the wildest corridors of the Val d'Aran, from Les to Vielha
Other trail races within 155 miles
A 110-kilometer point-to-point journey from the town of Les through the wildest corridors of the Val d'Aran to the finish in Vielha. The CDH (Iron Roads) follows historic mining routes into remote territory, passing through tunnels and mine workings at the foot of Mauberme, through Europe's largest glacial lake cirque at Colomèrs, and along waterfalls and rivers that define this corner of the Pyrenees. With 6,400 meters of elevation gain and a 28-hour cutoff, it's a CCC®-equivalent challenge for experienced mountain runners.
