A new 75km tribute to the freedom trails of the Pyrenees — from Bossòst to Vielha
Other trail races within 155 miles
A brand-new race for 2026 — 75 kilometers and 5,100 meters of gain from Bossòst to Vielha, inspired by the clandestine escape routes used by those fleeing persecution across the Pyrenees during the 20th century. The TDL traces technical, varied mountain terrain through historic border passes and remote alpine zones, largely reversing the VDA course to Bassa d'Oles before branching through Val de Horno, Sarrahera, and the Santet valley. No crew assistance is permitted at any point; runners carry their own supplies between aid stations.
