88% singletrack through Colorado's arid Arkansas Valley with Collegiate Peaks views
Other trail races within 45 miles
The West Line Winder 30K covers 18.1 miles of Colorado's best-kept trail secret — arid, desert-style singletrack just outside Buena Vista with sweeping views of the Collegiate Peaks. With 88% singletrack and only 2,450 feet of gain, the course is one of the most runnable in Colorado: smooth, flowing trails through San Isabel National Forest and BLM land at a friendly average elevation of 8,260 feet. Added in 2024, the 30K has quickly become an ideal entry point for first-time trail runners and a fast option for veterans wanting a competitive morning race. The event finishes in time to enjoy the full 14er Fest festival atmosphere in downtown Buena Vista.
