Mesa rim trails above the Virgin River with a 22-hour window to finish
Other trail races within 198 miles
The Zion Ultras 100K takes runners from Ruby Rider Ranch across Wire Mesa and into the Gooseberry Mesa rim trail network, tracing the canyon edges high above the Virgin River on a mix of singletrack and slickrock. A short out-and-back to Crazy Jug Point adds a dramatic viewpoint before runners drop into the Virgin Desert for the race's final long stretch. Pacers are allowed from Mile 42.9 to the finish, supporting runners through the most demanding terrain.
