A mountain marathon through the spectacular Falls Creek high plains, the Alpine Challenge Marathon covers approximately 42km with 625m of elevation gain. An accessible option for trail runners with some experience, the course offers a taste of the same dramatic sub-alpine landscape as the longer events, with an 8-hour time limit.
