A rugged 100-mile Cascades loop featuring the Pacific Crest Trail and a 2.3-mile railroad tunnel
Other trail races within 121 miles
A challenging 100-mile clockwise loop through Washington's central Cascade Mountains, starting and finishing at the Easton Fire Station. The course gains over 23,000 feet across a mix of singletrack trail (70%), forest road (26%), and paved road (4%), topping out at 5,840 feet on Thorpe Mountain. Roughly 30 miles follow the Pacific Crest Trail, and runners pass through the 2.3-mile Snoqualmie Pass railroad tunnel in darkness. The route traverses the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and features rope-assisted descents and notoriously overgrown trail sections. Eighteen aid stations (16 full, 2 water-only) support runners across a 34-hour cutoff.
