An intimate encounter with the Eiger North Face on 35km of alpine trail
Other trail races within 77 miles
The 35km North Face Trail delivers one of the most dramatic course settings in the Eiger Ultra series — a direct encounter with the imposing Eiger north face. Starting in Burglauenen (a short train ride from Grindelwald), the route climbs steeply via Spätenalp to Wengen, then up the exposed Gemsenweg ridge to Männlichen, before traversing toward Kleine Scheidegg and the glacier moraine below Eigergletscher. A sharp turn places runners on the historic Eiger Trail directly below the towering limestone face, then descends to the finish in Grindelwald.
