84km through the heart of the Glockner Group from Osttirol to Kaprun
Other trail races within 200 miles
The Osttirol Trail runs 84 kilometers from the Enzingerboden cable car valley station (1,483m) to the finish at Salzburger Platz in Kaprun. The course takes in the most spectacular terrain of the Glockner Group in Osttirol, including the Berghotel Rudolfshütte (2,315m), the Kalser Tauern pass (2,515m), the Dorfertal valley, Kals am Grossglockner, and the Glorer Hütte at 2,642m — the highest supply station. Three passes above 2,500m and 5,000m of elevation gain make this the second most demanding event at GGUT, with 90% of the route on technical trails.
