Two loops through wooded Indiana trails in the heart of winter
A December trail marathon held at Chain O'Lakes State Park in Albion, Indiana. Runners complete two full loops of a 13.1-mile route through wooded singletrack and park trails, gaining approximately 1,000 feet of elevation per loop. Three well-stocked aid stations offer hot and cold food, Tailwind, and snacks, with drop bag access at the main tent. A non-profit event organized by Ignite Trail Series, Inc., with all net proceeds supporting the park's trail system and infrastructure.
