Two loops through wooded Indiana trails in the heart of winter
A December trail marathon held at Chain O'Lakes State Park in Albion, Indiana. Runners complete two full loops of a 13.1-mile route through wooded singletrack and park trails, gaining approximately 1,000 feet of elevation per loop. Three well-stocked aid stations offer hot and cold food, Tailwind, and snacks, with drop bag access at the main tent. A non-profit event organized by Ignite Trail Series, Inc., with all net proceeds supporting the park's trail system and infrastructure.

Chain O'Lakes State Park campground with electric and primitive sites. Reserve via Reserve America online (reserveamerica.com) or call 1-866-622-6746. Camping check-in starts Friday afternoon before race day. No RV camping in the parking lot — campground only.
