What Makes It Great

The 150 Mile is the flagship distance of the Indiana Trail 100, launched in 2026 at Chain O'Lakes State Park. Runners complete six 25-mile loops through this glacially-carved lake district in northern Indiana, passing through forests, wetlands, and along the shores of the chain of lakes. With 9,000 feet of cumulative elevation over 150 miles, the challenge is less about the terrain and more about the relentless forward motion required. Six well-stocked aid stations per loop keep runners fueled across what becomes one of the longest-running multi-day events in the Midwest.
