The course begins with a demanding climb up the Zwölferhorn (1,522 m) before crossing expansive alpine pastures through Faistenau and Ebenau to the Gaisberg, then descending along the southern shores of Lake Fuschl to the finish. A powerful combination of alpine climbing and lakeside trail running with 3,300 meters of gain.
