Morning start temperatures typically range from the low 40s to upper 50s°F (5–15°C), warming to the 60s–70s°F (15–25°C) by midday. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in the Colorado mountains from late spring onward — runners on the exposed burn sections should watch the sky closely.
